Susan Boyle’s debut album has hit Number One in six countries - the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Overall, the album, titled I Dreamed A Dream, has sold 1,195,820 copies in a week, including 411,820 copies in the UK and 784,000 in the US.

An unknown one year ago, Boyle has eclipsed every other female recording artist in American and UK history. Royalties will bring her, literally, millions.

Another two million copies are expected to be sold. The current worldwide shipment of the album is 3,361,000, which is not likely to cover demand.

I Dreamed A Dream has also hit Number Two in The Netherlands and Argentina and Number Five in Switzerland.
